"How to have Supernatural Success!"
I was reading through a magazine the other day
when I came across an advertisement for a book
called: “Supernatural Business!” I thought to
myself, “Now that’s a concept!” I was so amazed I
pulled out my credit card, went online and
purchased the book. Three days later the book
arrived. I was scheduled to attend the Rodeo with
some youth from my church, so I brought the book
along with me just in case I found a few moments
to begin reading it.
Since I had been to the Rodeo in the past and
everything pretty much appeared the same, I took
that as an opportunity to begin reading the book.
While in the Rodeo reading, one of the youth
asked me, “Can you read with all the noise going
on?”
I said, “Sure!”
The book “Supernatural Business” basically talked
about building a business on biblically based
principles. I thought to myself if one can build
a supernatural business on biblical principles,
certainly one could build a supernatural life on
biblical principles.
During that thought process this passage of
scripture came to mind:
“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have
made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are
like trees planted along the riverbank, with
roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees
are not bothered by the heat or worried by long
months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and
they go right on producing delicious fruit
(Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT).
Supernatural success comes through trusting God
with the plans and affairs of your life, reading
and believing His word and diligently applying it
to your life.
The process for having Supernatural Success is as
follows:
1. Trust in God
Job 12:10 states, “It is God who directs the
lives of His creatures; everyone’s life is in His
power.” Now matter how you fight against this
spiritual law; God is in Control! Remember the
bible says, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails
(Proverbs 19:21 NIV).”
2. Read God’s Word
Proverbs 23:7 states, “As a man thinks in heart,
so is he.” In order to think like God thinks you
must align your thoughts according to the Word of
God. Equally the bible encourages you to, “Keep
and guard your heart with intense care and above
all that you guard, for out of it flows the
springs of life (Proverbs 4:23 Author’s
translation).”
3. Act according to the Word
The bible also warns in James 1:22-23, “Don’t
fool yourself in to thinking that you are a
listener when you are anything but, letting the
Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what
you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like
those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and
two minutes later have no idea who they are, what
they look like.” Don’t be like this!
As stated previously, Supernatural success comes
through trusting God with the plans and affairs
of your life, reading and believing His word and
diligently applying it to your life.
Life is fairly simple, but doing the things to
maintain a simply successful life is where most
people develop a problem.
You can have a Supernatural successful life.
Trust God, read His Word, act on what it says and
watch how your life flourish like tree planted by
the waters.
