"4 Practical P’s to Prosperity!"
It is amazing to me that everyone from the
preacher to the politician seems to be promoting
the “secret” keys to prosperity. Recently, I was
watching television and on one channel a noted
preacher was sharing what he believes is the
ancient, spiritual keys to prosperity. Then I
flipped the channel only to find a noted
politician sharing his “7 nuggets of gold” on
prosperity.
In my research, I have found that there are
really only 4 practical P’s to prosperity in any
arena. I sincerely believe if you study and apply
these principles you will develop prosperity in
any area of your life.
The 4 Practical P’s to Prosperity are:
1. Planning.
In order to be prosperous in any arena of your life
you must first sit down and develop a plan. At
many of my speaking engagements, I frequently
tell the attendees that in order to see success
in their lives they must first decide where they
are going. They must first develop a blueprint.
The best way to get to “nowhere” is to go without
a plan. I am sure you have heard the statement,
“People don’t plan to fail; they fail to plan.”
That statement is true. One of my most famous
quotes that have traveled the globe is, "If you
are going to truly live your dreams, at some
point, you are going to have to wake up and put a
plan into action!" You must develop a plan!
2. Prepare.
After you develop a plan, you must prepare to put
your plan into action. You must make preparations
to build what you have dreamed. A well thought
out plan, without preparations to execute it is
only a fantasy. Many people live their lives in a
fantasy. Oprah Winfrey often states, "Luck is a
matter of preparation meeting opportunity." Oprah
is correct! When the opportunity arises you must
be prepared to put your plan in to action.
3. Pursue.
Beloved you must pursue what you have planned and
prepared. The day for waiting for your “Big
Break” is over! Quit waiting for people to affirm
and validate your dream. Get up, go out and
pursue the vision that is on the inside of you.
If no one on earth believes in you, know that God
believes in you. And if God is for you, who can
be against you? If God has given you the vision,
He will give you the provision to bring it to
pass. With passion, pursue your God-given
potential.
4. Persistence
Finally, you must persist once you get started.
Sure obstacles will come. Trials and tribulations
will try to deter you. You will also be tested.
Just know that you must have a test to develop a
testimony. When these times happen in your life
you must P.U.S.H! Now many people know P.U.S.H to
stand for Pray Until Something Happens. And that
is true. Please, by all means pray! Persistent
prayer produces much power. But you must also
P.U.S.H; Persist Understanding Stuff Happens!
P.U.S.H: because you must go through to come out
into your wealthy place. Here is another acronym
for P.U.S.H: Persist Until Success Happens!
Beloved, if you plan, prepare, pursue and
persist, you will see prosperity manifest in your
life. Don’t give up, keep the faith!
