"He loves YOU; Trust me!"
Have you ever stopped to consider how much God loves you? Honestly, just for one moment, ponder the awesomeness of the love God has for you. If you truly think about it for a moment it is mind-blowing. God loves you. His very nature is love. Love motivated Him to give Himself to redeem mankind.
I remember one morning reflecting on the love God has for me. Even in spite of my shortcomings God’s love consumes me. God’s love comforts me. God’s love sustains me.
One of my favorite passages of scripture is found in Romans 8:35-39. It reads as beautiful as a poem:
35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36. As it is written, For my sake we are killed all the day long, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38. FOR I AM PERSUADED, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, SHALL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD, WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. (Emphasis added.)
If you are IN Christ Jesus, nothing and I mean NOTHING shall separate you from the love of God! I don’t care what comes, what happens, or what anyone says, Nothing SHALL Separate YOU from the love of God! I encourage you to say to yourself right now as you read these words: Nothing SHALL separate ME from the Love of God!
Understand beloved, the main job of the enemy of your soul (the devil) is to try to cause you to doubt the promises of God. But like a warrior you must guard yourself with the weapons of truth: THE WORD OF GOD!
There is one thing I know and love about God: He cannot lie! Hebrews 6:18 says, “That by two immutable things, in which IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.
Even when we become faithless, thank God that He is faithful! He is true to His word! He can’t stop loving you and me. Jeremiah 31:3 states, “…I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” (Emphasis added.)
God’s love can not fail you. You can rest assured as long as you are secured in Christ you are safe and secure in the love of God. Believe God. Be encouraged: He loves YOU; Trust me! Better yet, Trust in God’s Love today!
